Imaging Guidelines

1) AP centred X ray of the pelvis with the patient weight bearing

2) Supine view of the pelvis with the coccyx within 2cm vertically and no rotation of the pelvis (coccyx in line with pubic symphysis) - with magnification marker ball, and size of the marker ball written on the film (see image below)

3) Standing lateral X ray of the lumbosacral spine and pelvis

4) Seated lateral X ray of the lumbosacral spine and pelvis

5) Seated lateral X ray of the lumbosacral spine and pelvis with patient bending forwards
